An n8n workflow that scans Google News every 45 seconds, uses Gemini AI to score each headline for market impact, and alerts subscribers within minutes.
Traders need market-moving news the moment it breaks, not hours later. I built an n8n pipeline that watches the news for them.
How it works: during New York trading hours, the workflow runs every 45 seconds and searches Google News for a set of finance keywords. New results are checked against a Google Sheet so nothing is sent twice, and time and keyword filters drop anything stale or off-topic.
Each fresh headline goes to a Gemini AI classifier that rates its sentiment and market impact. Relevant stories are logged to Google Sheets, saved to Supabase to power a live web dashboard, and pushed to subscribers on Telegram.
Result: a hands-off news desk that turns raw headlines into scored, ready-to-act alerts in seconds.
